GLA is a youth lead not for profit organisation with a mission to provide localized solutions that promote a green, healthy and wealthy community through environment friendly practices.
What we do
Led by our Theory of change: Be the innovator, Be the Voice , Build partnerships and Achieve results, We impact through implementing programs on; Active citizenship, Food and Nutrition, Environmental Justice, Water and Sanitation
We Find & Act
We are in search of untapped spaces that can be utilized to implement adverse climate action mitigation activities in the community.
We Provide Care
Our giveback project has been able to reach more than 1000 less fortunate families in the community through giving of clothes and food stuffs
We Educate
We run a skill based program termed TRASH2CASH which empowers youth with skills of making artefacts from waste materials
We Employ
We run Usafi Mtaani social enterprise which has seen more than 20 youth have an improved standard of living.
